Monster Cobia

What a day with my friends from Canada. Started out like any other pretty good day: plenty of high quality table fare like porgies and snapper. Then one of my clients hooked into something big on the bottom. I thought he had a shark until it surfaced and we got our first glimpse of this very large Cobia. Fought on a spinning rod with 30# test leader, it was an absolute miracle that the tackle held during the half hour fight with this 53# giant.
