Wahoo!

Writer: Adam McIntyreAdam McIntyre

We had an early start to the day shoving off from the dock before 6:30. The first 10 miles out of the inlet were pretty rough but it smoothed out the farther we went. Started trolling a color change, temp break, and weed line in 170' just after 9am. Shockingly this produced no fish so we made our way to deeper water. Picked up a nice 30# King in 195' and a 20# Wahoo in 250'. After that we trolled out to 470' with only a couple of knock downs to show for it. We decided to stop trolling and head in for some bottom fishing around 2pm. Picked up a lane, mangrove and vermilion snapper to top off a great day.
