I really enjoyed the company with my friends from GA on this 3/4 day bottom fishing trip. What great people! As you can see in the background of the pictures there was virtually no wind which makes for a great ride, but also makes it very hot. The current was absolutely ripping today, not able to hold bottom with 12 oz on 40# braid! Nonetheless, my friends had fun tussling with nice Red Snapper, Kingfish, Lane Snapper and Grass Porgies. These nice folks were also kind enough to share some of their Kingfish with me which is destined for some smoked fish dip, yum!
